Addison, Texas

Addison, Texas, wanted to do something more for their residents by seeking solutions to increase transparency. They were looking for a modern website with multiple specialty sub-sites, and an online code and document platform. These solutions had to be simple and efficient for staff to effectively achieve their goal. Since the city has utilized our codification services for over 40 years, they went with who they trusted for all these years.
Addison currently uses three solutions from the Circle of Governance: Website Design and Hosting, Online Code Hosting, and MuniDocs. The new website features a modern layout and intuitive design to ensure that the community can easily find relevant information such as Code of Ordinances, meeting minutes and agendas, archived documents forms and applications, event calendars, and important community information. Both MuniDocs and Online Code Hosting seamlessly integrate onto the website ensuring changes made by staff within each get immediately published to the website. The two also boast a unified search, allowing for simple navigation. We built several NEW custom features and displays:
- Attractions Listing - https://visitaddison.com/tourism/attractions
- Dining Guide - https://visitaddison.com/tourism/dining
- Apartments Listing - https://addisontexas.net/community/apartments
- Hotel Locator - https://visitaddison.com/tourism/hotels
- How Do I - https://addisontexas.net/help
- Helpful/Not Helpful Feedback button - at the bottom of each page. It provides the user with the ability to provide the City with feedback.
- The "Visit Addison" sub-site won a Gold Award for Best Website at the International Festival & Events Conference
