Siskiyou County's last website redesign happened four years ago and needed drastic improvement. Users of the old site found relevant information after too many clicks. The overall design needed modernization, increased ADA accessibility, and mobile responsiveness. Siskiyou County ultimately partnered with Municode because of our willingness to stay in constant communication and the affordable price. Visitors to the new website first see a homepage with rotating images of the county's scenery. The color scheme utilizes colors that can be found in nature, adding to the visual design. An easy to read font creates clear lines on the front page. The highlight of Siskiyou's site is its interactivity. With maps, buttons, text, photos, and headshots of the Board of Supervisors, every aspect tells a story. ADA accessibility and mobile responsiveness ensure everyone resident can access the site.
