Though Aumsville is a small city, the staff recognizes the importance of ensuring their community always has access to important information and content. After utilizing the same website for several years, they decided to give theirs a facelift with a sleek and modern design and layout. 

Aumsville's prior website was just that: a website. While it did feature content to keep the community engaged, it lacked a stunning visual design and intuitive layout. The photos found on the homepage were small and outdated and visitors of the site complained about how long it took to find what they needed. Staff also had a difficult time updating and creating new pages, resulting in some aspects of the site to become dated. 

After doing some searching for a new web provider, Aumsville partnered with Municode to utilize their Website Design & Hosting Services. When opening the new website, the homepage greets its visitors with stunning photos of scenery found around the beautiful city. This site also has a new color scheme with burgundy instead of green, making each page more appealing. Navigating through content is a breeze, with links organized between a top mega menu and key links based on the most visited pages of residents. Scrolling down will reveal the city's calendar and recent Facebook posts, providing updates on new developments. The biggest change from the old website is the new content management system which is easy enough for anyone to use with little to no training. This allows staff to create and maintain pages with ease ensuring all content remains fresh.
