Park City, Utah, wanted a solution capable of handling its Code of Ordinances and policy books online to increase transparency and cut down on paper costs. In addition,  the software had to be simple enough for non-technical staff to use.

Park City never had their Code and policy online. This meant residents and staff alike needed hard copies to access them, creating a large paper cost. Oftentimes, residents would need to travel to the city hall to view their Code of Ordinances. 

After reviewing its options, Park City ultimately chose Municode's Policies and Procedures software.  Now, they are able to host their policies online for their residents and staff to access from their desktops or mobile devices. The software also includes a search bar allowing quick retrieval of information. On the backend, staff can download sections of policy to their desktops, waving good-bye to paper. Changes to policy and code can also be proposed online, saving staff time.
