What is Legal Review?
Municipal Code Corporation (MCC) has a staff of attorneys that work out of our Tallahassee
campus. It is this commitment that separtes us from the marketplace. Many of our
attorneys have over 30 years of experience in municipal law.
Keep informed about the state law changes and have us perform a review of your code
to notify you of any legal changes that need to be made.
One of our staff attorneys performs a legal review of the existing code
and subsequent ordinances of a general and permanent nature againststate statutes
and court decisions. MCC then procides a legal manuscript consisting of the recommendations
in strike through and underline along with comments backing up the recommendations.
A resume of our staff is available upon request.
Figure 1 displays a sample section of code that has been reviewed by an attorney
with comments and footnotes discussing the legal findings.

Conference with Attorney
The attorney that reviewed your legislation can either travel to you to conduct
the legal conference or set up a teleconference to discuss the recommendations contained
within the legal manuscript.
MCC can implement the legal review as a phase by phase Recodification that can be
performed over many years to accommodate your budget. You can also implement the
legal review by adopting individual ordinances to effectuate the changes.
